New badges for active contributors at Beta Labs
Today we'll be making some changes to the badges that you can earn as a contributor at Beta Labs. We're going to simplify the badges we give out and switch off the Top Reviewer, Bug Buster, and Innovator badges since they were proving difficult to maintain in a reliable and fair way. In short, we're adding two new badges and holding on to two old badges.

Beta Labs contributor of the month, February 2010: maximilian.schleiss
Last month in our little poll 87% of you who responded voted to continue the Contributor of the Month tradition. So let's keep it going, but feel free to suggest other means of giving recognition as well. And remember that all of you can influence who gets select

Based on the nomination of the teams behind Point & Find, Ovi Maps for mobile, and Image Exchange, we'd like to recognize mbrett again as the Beta Labs contributor of the month for November. He's an "excellent contributor" that contributes quality feedback on a regular basis, and does so with a "p
Beta Labs contributor of the month, October 2009: navio1973
Since we didn't have any major releases in October, the contributor of the month was a difficult choice. In cases like these, we sometimes honor newcomers that contribute a handful of very insightful comments. But for this month we want to recognize a contributor with a steady and strong track record, a constructive approach in his feedback, and an interactive presence. These are all things we appreciate in a beta labs contributor.
For your efforts, navio1973, we'll give you a choice:

Beta Labs contributor of the month, August 2009: cricfancy
Another month has passed and it's time to once again announce a well distinguished community member. Ovi Suite 2.0 continued to be our most important Beta, so we turned to them for advice. Here's a direct quote from the team of why they chose cricfancy:
"cricfancy has been very active in finding more details about errors in Nokia Ovi Suite and has helped us a lot in improving the product."
Beta Labs contributor of the month, July 2009: Speedgrapher
Written by: Ilkka Peltola, Nokia Beta Labs team
July was a quiet month: only a couple updates and one graduation. At first, this made it again difficult to choose a contributor of the month, since we didn't have any beta launches and thus could not ask the teams to nominate best contributors. But, we didn't want to just skip this contributor of the month either. So, the reasons are this time not just based on July's observations.
